Announcement: Upcoming Short-Term Regasification Capacity Auctions for 2025 and 2026

We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming auctions of short-term regasification capacities at our terminals in Brunsbüttel (BBÜ01)1, Wilhelmshaven I (WHV01), and Wilhelmshaven II (WHV02). Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET) will offer2 terminal capacities for regasification, LNG storage, and send-out to the grid for the years 2025 in WHV02 and 2026 in the terminals BBÜ01, WHV01 and WHV02. The products will include capacities with both Obligation to Deliver (OTD) and No Obligation to Deliver (NOTD).

The auction is scheduled for the period between 23 June and 2 July 2025 (a detailed auction schedule will be published shortly).

Participation Requirements:

To be approved as a bidder, all shippers must submit the following documents to:

  • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Questionnaire
  • Letter of Agreement (LoA)
  • Proof of credit rating or equivalent security

All participants must also register on the PRISMA platform and accept the Terms and Conditions of the auction. Approval will be granted by DET via the PRISMA system. Please note that all relevant auction documents will be available on DET’s website in early June 2025. Notes: 1 The Brunsbüttel FSRU will be moved from the current jetty to the new jetty in 2026. 2 The offering includes the 10% mandatory short-term capacities according to LNGV.
