At midday on April 26, the Höegh Esperanza moored again on schedule at its berth at the Voslapper Groden transhipment terminal. The FSRU had left its jetty in Wilhelmshaven four days earlier for regular maintenance and went into the roadstead in the German Bight for this purpose. At the same time, the port company NPorts carried out dredging work in the area of the mooring basin to ensure the required water depth. The Esperanza will now be connected to the superstructure and will soon be able to receive the next delivery from an LNG tanker, regasify it and feed it into the German gas grid.
