Brunsbüttel

The FSRU "Höegh Gannet", Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH's second LNG terminal, has been operational since 2023. Located in Brunsbüttel at the intersection of the Elbe River and the Kiel Canal, it is accessible by ocean-going vessels.

The terminal in Brunsbüttel

The "Höegh Gannet" owned by the shipping company Höegh Evi is moored at the existing dock in the port of Brunsbüttel on the river Elbe and will move to its new berth as soon as the purpose-built new jetty is completed. The terminal's performance can also be tracked on the official Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) website: ALSI-Plattform.

Responsibilities in Brunsbüttel

The operating company of the LNG terminal in Brunsbüttel is DET. We cooperate with Gasfin Development S.A. in the management of the terminal. Reganosa Deutschland is responsible for operations and maintenance, which involves carrying out technical work on site. KN Energies is responsible for the commercial management in particular coordinating the arrival of the LNG carriers and the feed-in to the gas grid. The regasification takes place on board the Höegh Gannet and is carried out by the shipping company Höegh Evi. The port of Brunsbüttel is operated by Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH.
