A fourth floating LNG terminal operated by DET is currently being developed in Stade. At the heart of the terminal will be the FSRU Energos Force. This specialized vessel will receive liquefied natural gas (LNG) from LNG carriers, regasify it on board, and feed it into the German gas grid—making a significant contribution to Germany’s secure energy supply. The terminal is located at a dedicated energy berth constructed specifically for this purpose in the port of Stade‑Bützfleth. The site has been designed to meet the requirements of a safe, flexible, and high‑performance energy infrastructure. DET and its internationally experienced service providers are currently working at full speed toward commissioning. DET will provide timely updates on the next steps of the project.
The Terminal Stade

With 174,000 cubic meters, the Energos Force has the largest tank capacity of our four FSRUs. Its regasification capacity is up to 750 MMSCFD and its grid feed-in is up to 4.7 billion cubic meters per year. The terminal is currently under construction and is expected to become operational in 2026.
