The first delivery to DET’s new floating LNG terminal in Stade has been successful. On November 2, the LNG tanker “Lech Kaczyński” arrived as scheduled at the Bützfleth industrial port mooring alongside the FSRU Energos Force. The ship-to-ship transfer of the approximately 160,000 cubic meters of cryogenically cooled LNG is proceeding smoothly. Preparations for the terminal’s commissioning—which will include the initial send-out of gas ("first gas") from the facility into the transmission network in the coming days—are in full swing. DET will provide further updates on the next steps shortly.
