Once maintenance work at the adjacent DET Terminal Wilhelmshaven 02 has been successfully completed and the FSRU Excelsior is back online there, scheduled work will take place at the DET Terminal Wilhelmshaven 01: Starting October 26, the send-out from the FSRU Höegh Esperanza will be halted for a few days. Experts will then test the loading arms, gangway, and fire extinguishing systems. Certain seals and filters must also be replaced as part of standard procedures, and many other inspection steps must be completed. At the same time, dredging work will take place offshore near the Esperanza in coordination with the port operator N-Ports. The FSRU will then be reconnected to the grid at the end of October.
